Yeah, the Mayor's YouTubes can be kinda tedious sometimes, but personally I appreciate his earnest attempt to give a wrap up of things from his perspective. I don't agree with him all the time but it's good to see where he's coming from. I can get entertainment at any of the million or so other YouTube videos that are just one click away. I like the idea of a grownup person communicating with me about my city in a way that assume's I'm smart and I CAN handle the truth.
I also liked that old school budget teach in with the insta-voting, even though it was like 5 or 10 hours long! It's inspirational to see my fellow citizens give up their Saturday to learn how the city's budget really works.
That said, I think Newsom could definitely lose the tie and get out and about in the city a little more. It's a beautiful city, show it off!
